Beach Shack Charters operates offshore fishing trips based out of Spinnaker Sound Marina in Sandstone Point near Bribie Island.  

Our convenient location provides immediate access into Moreton Bay and is less than 15 nautical miles to the rich fishing grounds of Cape Moreton, north of Moreton Island, and the deep blue waters of the Coral Sea. Typical locations - to name a few - include Bulwer Ledge, Venus Banks, Cape Moreton, Brennan Shoal, Roberts Shoal, Deep and Shallow Tempest, Flinders Reefs, Hutchison Shoals, Wild Banks, 9-mile Reef, 12-mile Reef, Barwon Banks, many of the FAD locations including towards the Continental Shelf and many wreck sites in Moreton Bay and the Coral Sea.     

Bribie Island is an easy 45 minute drive north from Brisbane Airport or 50 minute drive south from the Sunshine Coast, Mooloolaba.   

We offer individual or group bookings for 8-9 hour trips on our high powered offshore fishing charter vessel.   

This charter boat is equipped with state of the art navigational systems, RADAR, 3 Kilowatt transducers for the Furuno Depth sounders and fish finders and all new safety and fire fighting  equipment. 

The vessel comes with fishing rods, reels, and other tackle; backed by Bribie Beach Shack Bait and Tackle shop. We are equipped with over 1500 pre-made rigs, 17 kilometers of spare line and over 2000 hooks for your convenience. A fully enclosed toilet and fresh water wash hand basin are aboard, as are sanitization stations and separated garbage bins. 

Prospector has ample seating down the middle of the vessel for each passenger that keeps the decks clear for ease of movement and safety, with 16 'stand up' fishing stations around the outer rails. 

"Prospector" is staffed with fully qualified skippers and crew to look after your safety and fishing experience, all staff are a minimum of NC1 Coxswain level so at any time can rotate duties or operate the vessel if needed. 

"Prospector" is in survey to take up to 16 passengers plus crew for offshore fishing charters, Private parties, tours, whale watching, fish and Snorkel expeditions and can readily custom and tailor an event.
